Razorlight singer, Johnny Borrell has been signed up for a aperture on XFM in Manchester and London.Radio headIt’s not his first incursion into the world of XFM, having presented a show in January for a month.However, this will be an extended run, with 9 outings, starting on September 6th at 9pm.Entitled, The Sunday Service: Songs They Don’t Play on the Radio, How-Do assumes that at least it security no Razorlight on the playlist:"It's the kind of thing that only Xfm would do. When I was doing The Residency, I was making alliance between totally different artists from Iggy Pop, to Buju Banton, to Allen Ginsberg. I don't think there's any radio station in the world that would let me play those three artists, but I did it on Xfm! It’s going to be one hour each night of the songs they don't play on the radio."XFM’s group broadcast director, Paul Jackson added:“Following the brilliant feedback from Johnny’s appearances earlier this year we just knew we had to get him back for his own show. Johnny is a creative genius and a great story teller, so I’m sure this show will be hugely popular with listeners. We’ve always loved Razorlight at Xfm and we’re looking forward to seeing what Johnny does with the show and which tracks he chooses.”
